Microsoft Surface devices made their debut in 2012 with a 10.6-inch tablet sporting an optional keyboard accessory, running the ill-fated Windows RT based on the ARM Nvidia Tigra SoC. Since then, the brand has established itself as a design and technology showcase for the Windows platform, evolving into a profitable business for Microsoft and capturing a solid core of devotees.
Microsoft today offers many Surface Laptops of different descriptions, mostly in consumer and business guises. Laptop users looking for a Surface device for mainstream productivity tasks are probably best directed to the Surface Laptop 4, which comes in 13.5-inch or 15-inch sizes, powered by either Intel Core generation 11 processors with Iris X graphics or AMD risen 4000 series processors with Radeon graphics. The main disappointment of ZDNet reviewers with the surface of the laptop 3 was the battery life. Microsoft claimed up to 11.5 hours of" typical use", but our tests came in more than 6 hours. Microsoft is obviously aiming to address this with the Laptop Surface 4, Claiming up to 19 and 17 hours respectively for the 13.5-inch AMD and Intel models. For the 15-inch model, Microsoft claims up to 17.5 hours (AMD) and 16.5 hours (Intel). In our review of the AMD 13.5-inch model, we saw about 14 hours of life under versatile workloads. This is less than the 19-hour claim, but impressive nonetheless.
Prices for 13.5-inch Surface Laptop 4 start from دولار 999.99 with AMD risen 5 4680 U processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SD storage, go up to دولار 2,299.99 with Intel Core i 7-1185 G7, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB SD.
